Our Tool Lending Program

The Richmond Community ToolBank is a nonprofit tool lending service that equips community based organizations & volunteers with year-round access to a massive inventory of tools. Our tools are used by thousands of volunteers each year. Our standard 3% borrowing fee has helped our not-for-profit members save more than $4 million that gets plowed back into the community through their mission & programs.

Our impressive inventory of nearly 12,000 individual tools organized into 230 types can empower 1,000 volunteers at any given moment. And no matter where your project is or how many tools you need, our SMARTBOX-partnered delivery service ensures that transportation is never a barrier to success.
